UKRAINE
at the crossroads of worlds
Their names are Yuri, Ihor, Tatiana, Julia, Viktor, Dmitri, and Ana. They are Russian- or Ukrainian-speaking Ukrainians, Transnistrians, or Moldovans. They have been deeply affected by the simmering conflict that Ukraine has been experiencing since the Maidan Revolution in 2013.
I met them in 2021, after this revolution brought to light the scars of a nation divided since the fall of the Soviet Union, after the annexation of Crimea, after the war in Donbas... Was it already possible to predict the Russian invasion?
